Maison Wessman and Norah Jones launch This Life wines

On June 11, Robert and Maison Wessman's new partner, musician Norah Jones, welcomed friends and music and wine writers to Jimi Hendrix's Electric Lady studios in the West Village to launch their inaugural cuvées: This Life rosé and crémant.

The event coincided with appropriate early summer weather and was written up by both Wine Spectator and Rolling Stone, among others. The wines take their name from a track on Jones' chart-topping 2020 album Pick Me Up Off the Floor, which was recorded at the studio.

Norah and Róbert shared the history of the collaboration and, of course, the wines, with the historic Studio 1 as the backdrop. Dozens of cultural landmarks have been recorded at Electric Lady, but this was perhaps the first time in its storied history that a winemaking debut had been paired with world-renowned musical talent.
