The certification follows a rigorous process requiring specific policies, processes and controls to be implemented. Although the focus of the project was Alvotech in Iceland, and in fulfilment of the Icelandic legislation on gender equality, the job structure, role definition and career structure moving forward will focus on Alvotech globally.
So it might be said that Alvotech is exporting the Icelandic equality legislation. This is an achievement we can all be proud of and is in line with our aspiration to be an attractive place to work for all, where equal employment opportunities are an integral part of the employment process.
