We all feel a deep compassion for our Ukrainian colleagues and all the victims of the aggression in Ukraine. We are also immensely grateful to all the aid workers and organizations that are on the ground providing relief.
Alvotech’s Chairman, Róbert Wessman, decided that Alvotech along with sister company Alvogen and his own family would donate ISK 5 million each to UNICEF Iceland. UNICEF is providing lifesaving help to children inside Ukraine and in neighboring countries.
In addition, Alvotech's employees organized a fundraiser, and the company matched their donations. At the request of the company's Ukrainian employees, the amount, totaling ISK 6 million was donated to UN Women Ísland. UN Women works to provide counseling and support to refugees with women-centered emergency assistance at its core.
