Alvotech acquires Swiss partner Ivers-Lee

In July, we acquired of our longtime packaging partner Ivers-Lee, bringing in-house the ability to assemble autoinjectors, pre-filled syringes and safety devices, and to package vials.

This marks another extension of Alvotech's vertical integration strategy. Ivers-Lee's facility in Burgdorf is GMP certified and FDA approved, enabling Alvotech to expand its capacity ahead of the expected launch of three more products in 2025. At the same time, Ivers-Lee aims to use the new ties to continue to invest and innovate in leading technologies and will continue to serve their other existing customers, helping to defray the cost of the integration.
